not if you seal round them with some engine lube..........

How about getting a sheet of clear lexan from B&Q and using silicone sealant to seal it to the inside of the engine lid?

Not sure what the temperature would do to it but if it starts to melt you can always take it off again.

Also, I hate to be picky but the lack if front indicator repeaters is an MOT fail.
Hope your tester is a friendly chap.

Other than that, it looks really nice to me. :thumleft:

i have front idicators? there built into the crystal sidelamps.

And iv got the Tubby lid back on there now to stop rain etc. until i finish the custom lid with glass cutout. :thumleft:

Yes you do have indicators, but you don't have side repeaters, unless they're in the wing mirrors?

He didnt say anything on the MOT a few months ago, you can see flashin light from the side tho, from front and rear indicators

Awesome looking car.The only thing not to my taste is the engine lid as i like the Turbo engine lids alot more.

Loving the interior and engine bay :thumleft:

And its about the only time ive seen the lexus lights look ok on a MR2 :thumleft:

9's on slicks to come, with a clean full throttle pass! Goal of 0-150mph in a 1/4 of a mile....

this car is for sale if any1 interested. looking for £4,000 ono, its not missed a beat since iv had it, only reason for selling is iv bought another Trd turbo.

6 months mot and 8 months tax. :thumleft:

Finally the sun is out and work can resume on the car!

Big brake kit fitted to front, im looking for a machine shop than can change the r8 disks into hub alloy hub mounted type if any1 knows someone thatt can they let me know.
