[Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo-to-Dowpipe gasket - where from please?

Hi all,

Do you know where I can get the gasket that goes between the turbo and downpipe (de-cat-) on a rev3 turbo please?

Like these, but not so expensive if possible:

Hope you havent bought it as I have an Ebay one like that sitting in the garage and its a load of crap, its falling to bits / seperating and its never been on the car!!!

The genuine Toyota one is Metal, the Ebay one is some kind of metal foil cardboard papery thing.

Considering how big the job is I would have just paid the extra as its not the sort of job you want to do again....

Loudandproud... Not sure if they're different. I think they're the same as the ebay pic looks the same as the one I took off. If they are the same, PM me with a price and I'll make a decision!

You get what you pay for. Toyota gaskets last forever. We don't fit "ebay" gaskets in our workshop unless the customer supplies them.

That certainly looks more robust!

I've just called Toyota to add it to my ever growing order list!

I think what I'm spending with them this week, it will almost cover the warranty cost of their sticky throttles!

compare the Toyota one to your old one that your took off the car then you will see the real difference
