MAJOR f**k up when fitting Lockwood dials...**NEW QUESTION**

Post by darrenmr2 »

Hey guys got some Lockwood white dials for my tubby and fitting the last one (petrol gauge) i have snapped the spindle thing...so have no gauge!!

I tried superglue but as the break was near the top it had nothing to stick too (if that makes sense) Basically it has snapped off just inside the little motor thing that operates the gauge.

FORTUNATLY i knew i needed fuel and the little orange light still comes on warning me im running low. So i guess its fill the tank everytime and just wait for the little orange glow lol!

Does anyone have any suggestions? Do u know if the gauge (literally just the inner workings) can be bought sepearately? Or do i just buy 2nd hand clocks??

Oh and the crappy oem boost gauge has stopped working ALTOGETHER! Lucky i have an aftermarket one fitted! Again...any suggestions?

Am sick! :(

Cheers in advance people

Darren

Question...Will a set of REV 2 180MPH clocks from a tubby fit my 1994 REV 3 tubby?????? (also with 180MPH clocks)

Possibly getting some Rev 2 clocks with speedhut dials (as i really want the white clocks look!) cos dont fancy swopping other gauges into mine as i'll have to re fit the Lockwood, and thats how i broke the bloody thing in the 1st place lol (if that makes sense!)

Just need to know 100% that the Rev 2 clocks will fit my Rev 3
