Did it all myself. Car was red and very rough when I first had it 3 1/2 years ago. Finally on the road a week or so ago.

seems a little laggy for the 3076, what boost / gain are you running?

you must still be well happy to have her on the road though :thumleft:

How is the st205 cc handling the 3076? what kind of intake temps are you getting?

Marty

On the road it feels fine, not very laggy, I need a rev3 head etc now to release a few more hp, have pm'd you. The 390bhp was at 1.7bar, at 1.5bar it gave 384bhp, they put the lack of power increase down to my car running rev1 head and inlet, said it was choking the car.

Sutton

The chargecooler seems fine, temps seemed to remain constant, can't remember what they were ut Ryan seemed happy enough with it during the few hours we spent road mapping it, will see how it copes when I change the head etc though.

Nikaiyo

Thanks!

What seems to be the safe maximum for boost on these cars? I've seen some running 2bar all day and it's fine, but then others say around 1.4 to 1.5bar, no more :-k Never seems to be a definate answer

Rev1-2 - 1bar, turbo runs out of poof with more.
Rev3+ - 1.2bar, altho theres a few owners out there who've ate piston rings with this much.

Forged rebuild, more :)

Yea, that's what I was after. With 86mm CP forgies, i've seen people run as much as 1.97bar on IMOC, but what's a safe level to run with a boot mount? :-k
