On a rev 2 with those mods its far too high, the head gasket wont be able to take that, without extra cooling mods you'll be putting too much heat into the engine and causing det/pinking so potential for cracked ringlands etc.... Im guessing your probably using standard unleaded as well...

yeah, 14psi max:)

you will have trouble with fueling above that, and you're head gasket may go pop too:)

Even 14psi is pushing it without cooling mods but still....
You should be running V-Power petrol, at the very least super unleaded, helps stop detonation which will ruin your enigne (and only needs to happen once).
No offence intended here bud but I would really spend an evening going through this whole forum researching the MR2 turbo and its needs/quirks/limitations as it seems you dont know a lot about the cars which isnt an insult but for the sake of your car and your wallet. Otherwise you may get a very large bill sooner rather than later, they're quite highly strung engine's and incorrect running will bite you in the ar$e :eye:

On a standard ECU, you shouldn't use anything other than Super unleaded (Optimax / Ultima etc) as it is closer to the Jap fuels.

It's OK to use normal fuel on short journeys in an emergency but stay off of boost as much as possible :thumleft:
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.
