3S-FE / GE - Exhausts the same?

Quick question folks:

Does anyone know if the rear exhaust section (cat back) is the same from 3S-FE engined cars, to 3S-GE cars? I've been told by someone they probably are, with only the cat being different (which I have already)...

I know it works the other way with no problems matey so would imagine it,s fine both ways!!

nope..there not the same. the 3sfe has a longer down pipe. cats are shorter and the pipe to the back box i slightly shorter as well.
I found out the hard way after i was told the same thing

I remember years ago ordering an NA mongoose exhaust for my 'FE. The Decat pipe was too long for the system so had to retain the original cat on the car.

So am guessing the NA mongoose they did was for 3SGE only.

Hmmm, strange, because I fitted the back box from a FE car straight on... I did use a GE CAT, so perhaps its just the down poop and CAT that are different...

still having problems fitting the down pipe and exhaust iv got. strange!!
i need a 3sfe with lamba i brought a down pipe off ebay which was advertised for a 3sfe. but it was to short..
turns out it was for a 3sge.. i have both 3sfe auto and a 3sge manual
so the saga continues!!

My mongoose back box came from a 3GSE??
So maybe it is the bits before it that are different, although Ive not tried to change these yet
