The bov itself has to bolt on to the hotpipe where the standard re-circ valve is.
..then you take a vacume hose from the Inlet manifold (big thing after the throttle body) and connect it to the little pipe on the bov. Make sure everything is nice and tight with clips or cable ties, making sure not to snap any "t" pieces if you're using them and thats it man...if you have a boost guage fitted you could take the vacume hose from the same pipe.
To get abit more technical, the bov will have a mechanism for applying/releasing the amount of tension in the spring inside..this will make it easier or harder for it to open and determine whether you get more flutter or more doosh. I have mine set to flutter at lower boost dump and a doosh at higher levels of dump..lol..
