got my ps3 now as to what games

finally have my ps3 intend on keeping this one..

I currently have

socom (what is this any good should i trade in seems pretty poo)
call of duty wow (not sure about this)
call of duty mod war 1 (think i'll have a play then trade in)
mirrors edge.. (had a bit of a play looks ok could be better)
midnight club (gonna have a go)



What do people think should i just trade the lot in and get like 1 or 2 better games?

I have just bought Final Fantasy 13 i intend on playing this all weekend

If your getting Uncharted 2, get Uncharted 1 first.

I could give you a whole list of games, but yuo'd need to give me an idea of what sort of games you actually like.

You appear to like FF, I've never played any of them as they just don't appeal to me at all.

If you like cut scene heavy games, try Metal Gear Solid. I'm told there's something like 247 years of cut scenes in that

As above, If you liked the Tomb Raider series, Then Uncharted 1&2 are bigger and better in every way.

Killzone 2.

Bioshock 1&2.

If you like RPG's Demon's Souls from the US is a gem but like Fallout 3 you'll ever love it or loathe it.

Did you play the time trials? I did the first one and couldnt understand why i was a whole minute slower than the fastest time.

Didnt realise there were so many ways to get across the level and mine was the longer route. Had to watch Youtube to see where people were going lol.

Aye, and we won't have to wait 5 years for this one.

Think I got to about level 30 on time trials and only did the first 2 or 3 levels on Speedrun mode before realizing I was out of my league a little bit too unforgiving that the slightest mistake or mis-timed button press and you ain't gonna qualify. You can load ghost runs in from the leaderboards to find different short cuts to piece quicker routes together (if you haven't been left behind after 5 seconds) but it's still solid. There was one level in an office block where I think you had 1:30 to do the level and the world record was about 12 seconds, I loaded the ghost to see how it was done and the guy just reverse hoped up some concrete posts and off light fittings all the way to the top floor and just copying the first bit he did I found nigh on impossible and threw in the towel

The single player story mode was superb though, really enjoyed it and the soundrack was brilliant too.

I got the pure add-on maps for it and those were even harder

Why have 2 of you suggested GT5?

It doesn't exist.

GT5 PROLOGUE is available and isnt worth getting at all IMO, unless you get given it. They charge £15 for about 1/10th of every other racing game on the market. It's not reflective of the pending full game. You then spend about 79 days waiting for it to install, update and do what ever else it does. Within 2 days, you're bored and have done everything on it.

I'm going to have a propper play of mirrors edge hopefully next week.. Depends how much FF13 grabs me when i sit down to play on Saturday.
