It recently had a replacement engine loom fitted due to water getting into a frayed wire on the old one and has recently had a service including new oil, one grade colder spark plugs, oil and fuel filters.The car is MOT'd until July and Taxed until March.
It was imported in 2003 and has some receipts and service history with it, including a receipt for a cambelt change. I have also just replaced the temperature gauge sender.I have replaced odd parts such as the cigarette lighter, sun visors and gear gaiter as the original items were past their best.
The odometer shows 95000 miles, but this is mostly kilometers
(as proven by the mileage on the import receipt, old MOTs etc.), thus working out as somewhere in the region of 70000 miles max.The two doors have a tiny bit of rust just starting to show on the bottom corners, which I believe would be fairly easy to take care of
(and indeed would be taken care of, were I to keep the car). It could also do with new rear tyres and has a bit of steering wobble around 70mph.It's an old car so it isn't perfect, but it's mechanically good and is currently my daily driver, doing around 50 miles a day with no issues.
