Post by spooferman »

on the motorway friday is a very bad rain storm in north yorkshire.

my engine management light flashed on/off then the engine lost poweer dropped in revs! hard sholder refused to start from some time.
fired up and missed pop bang. when it settled was able to drive a few miles then cut out int he same way again.

waiting for it to be lifted back home.

could water be the issue. Dizzy cap rota arm plugs and HT are all new ](*,)

Check your coil/ignitor for cracks. This can let water in and then your ignition system gets very unreliable.
