Thanks Thai thinking of buying this tomorrow so the more reviews the better :)

I liked the Demo as a Marine, it was just like the film with the Radar beeping and then firing the gun sounded just like it while seeing the ammo counter go down :D Makes me want to go and watch the Alien films again

Apparently its just a case of trekking to one console to hit a button and then onto the next.

Well played it for 3-4 hours last night as the Marine and unfortunately agree with Sam with the Marine missions. Its good but its nothing amazing. You just move from one checkpoint to the next killing everything that doesn't resemble human. Guns could definately do with beefing up a bit, flamethrower is crap and should of looked like the one in FarCry2 as that looked amazing! The animations are ok, again nothing special but fits with the look and feel of the game.

Aliens is my favourite film of all time and I'm a massive fan of the Alien and Predator films so was REALLY looking forward to this. The sound effects are excellent, straight from the films which is exactly what was needed :thumleft: Its a very dark game, lighting effects are very nice in places and the levels are very claustrophobic and atmospheric. Graphics are nothing special but very nice in places. The backgrounds and backdrops in some levels are very good.

Played as the Alien for about an hour.......REALLY good fun! Extreme speed and stealth, sneaking up on Marines and silently ripping their heads off or impaling them with your tail is excellent fun! Read a few reviews on the game and they have prefered playing as the Alien out of all 3 charaters.

Havn't played as the Predator yet but will give it a go later. :thumleft:

Only played the demo online so havn't touched multiplayer yet, but with 6 game modes should be pretty cool.

So far I'd give it 8/10 but that might be very slightly generous being a huge Alien/Predator fan. Good game so far though.

Bought it yesterday, only played as the Predator so far and I think it's pretty gash. Will give the Alien and Marine missions a go this afternoon but at the minute it looks like I will be taking it back to Asda for a refund.

Just started playing through the Predator missions now, being a massive predator fan i think its brilliant. You can do everything a Predator can do from the films, dont really get the whole power charge thing but im loving the heat vision and the flying disc and the grab options !!! Still a big thumbs up from me :thumleft:

Completed the Predator and Marine campain now, Predator was pretty damn cool with all the cloaking and weapons, Marine was ok, average shooter really. Loving playing as the Alien, pure stealth!

I got it saturday. I'm just gonna try and race through it as quick as possible and then trade it in before it's worthless. Graphics are nice but tbh, it's boring. It's also too dark to play with normal vue so you spend 99% of the time playing in heat vision mode wasting all the nice graphics. I'm playing as the predator, it's hard work reading the subtitles as the only english is spoken by the humans. I seem to be running around collecting things at the moment and not much else. It's too easy on easy and too hard on normal.
