no dont think it should be,,

if u want to move it closer to your house then thats your problem why not move house,,

but if its becuse of chavs then let get togetter and get i sign made up that said something like

please keep off acting a fool wait until the road outside for that!!!!

seems a shame to move it ,, come on u can go down a floor when its wet,,,
u be on the top when its dry
u can send the misses shoping

it dont matter, moving it and the xxxx will follow

Ah screw you anyway,  I'm moving to London in 25 days and I'm moving to around the SE area, Forest Hill, something like that. Not sure if I'll have my '2 still :( I'm gonna try and sell it at JAE.

I'm sorry chaps but their is absolutely no way i'm moving the location of this event just to suit a couple of people! =; The meet has come a long way since I first started it.......3 cars turned up at the first

The chav's are i'm afraid part and parcel of any successful meet from my experience. Having said that I have only ever spotted a handful of the sinfull little creatures at anyone time since the meet was started! :D

If people are unhappy with the distance involved traveling to the meet then do what I did, start your own meet some where closer to yourselves  Having said that the Bluewater meet can hardly be classed as close for me at any rate given that it's a 60 mile round trip for me  I know of plenty of others who come nearly twice that too!

Best,

It would seem that yet again as soon as I left the meet all of the wheel spinning, stereo thumping, exhaust revving twits came out of the wood work.....yet again!

I'll have a simple yet effective solution in place for the next meet though so with any luck we should see a change =D>

apparently clampers were walking about early & security were trying to find the event organiser - didnt see either myself though ;)

only saw the mr2 reving/booming his system & the motorbike muppet (would of laughed if he stacked it)

had the usual idiots with they're wheelspinning/flooring it antics when they left....

It's a shame really because when the Bluewater meets first started there was a great friendly atmosphere and it was pretty low key,I think now it's become a victim of it's own success and has attracted the attention of far too many idiots and the friendly club atmosphere has gone.Maybe it's just the summer weather that's brought all the wallys out,who knows?but it's just not my kind of meet anymore

i attended my first ever meet of this kind on the 28th of last month, felt a bit weird at first as my 2 wasnt up to the standards of everybody elses and thought i wouldve got laughed at by other members, met up with a chap of here called ANT who was really helpfull and showed me about, met a few others such as AGENT TURBO etc and found everyone to be a lot more helpfull and friendly than i expected,

it is a shame about the chavs but you will find them eventually crawling around wherever you go ](*,) i do agree with keeping it at bluewater tho for the reasons stated above... upstairs/downstairs/a place to palm off the mrs for a few hrs etc lol \:D/ it would be hard to find somewhere else as handy as that i reckon, :-k id just like to say thanks and well done to the original organisers of this event...its an enjoyable evening.......top notch :thumright:

I think the way things are going we wont have a choice about moving it,bluewater security will probably put a stop to it due to the behaviour of some of the people attending the meet

well i think that somebody metioned it the other day on here about naming and shaming the idiots who like to ruin it for the majority, ](*,) take the reg and description of the car etc and make a little note of it in the spotted or events forum, give them a warning and let them know they're behaving like a child!!! if we all add comments aboout such drivers they will soon get the message and either stop attending or begin to behave (hopefully) its surely got to make them think twice and feel a bit sheepish [-X and at the end of the day they deserve to be put right as there behaviour could well spoil the whole meet for everyone, ( i certainly wouldnt like that on my shoulders) :-#

take pics..give details..and make an example of them  !!! dont feel bad about as they obviously dont give a toss in the first place...so why should we!

(also im aware that not everybody that attends the meet uses this site so the shaming may not instantly but given time it could help)

exhaust so thats ur first name and shame!

I didnt see the motorbike but i sure heard it, i also heard lots of wheel
spinning and squeeling underneath

Not all the people that attend the meet are club members,so would have no idea about being named and shamed. They'd need to be verbally told to behave  As I said earlier inless we act fast to stop these idiots, the matter may be taken out of our hands :(

yep exactly like that =D>

am i right in thinking you spoke to him earlier that day and he was a friendly chap?? if so maybe it was misunderstood what the meet was really all about, its only fair to give each person the benefit of the doubt first time as they may not have been aware, and the type of meets theyre used too is max power style burnouts and handbrake turn meets etc?? :-k :-s

i really feel like im taking a liberty tho as i have only just started to attend meets and people may think ''who is he to pass comment about all this''...basically id like to keep attending the meet and dont want it stopped or moved after ive only recently discovered this one (to which im sure most of you agree)

however if the chap in that pic above sees what we have said and how we feel im sure he will know to avoid such behaviour next time!!!

we can only hope [-o<

I still think a little flyer handed out to people when they arrive is the way to go.

Explaining that the meet is only tolerated by the Security at Bluewater if people behave.

No Revving / Flaming
No Burnouts
No Dohnuts (ok apart from krispy Kreme's  )
No Loud music
No Sideways action on exit.

Failure to behave with above "simple" rules will allow the meet to continue for years to come... if not then you will be asked to leave or your car details / registration given to the Bluewater Security Guards and you will be banned.

by giving out flyers you will be notifying the offenders BEFORE they break any rules.. it also is freindlier as no-one likes to be a killjoy and no matter how many times people say "grrr" and moan about these type of incidents NO-ONE actually says anything to the perpetrator :-#

it's a natural thing i suppose - you fear backlash from the offender and sometimes it's hard to elloquently explain the meets rules when they are leaving sideways at 50mph =;

If need be I will happily make up some flyers if the organisors want to send me the "rules of the meet"

thanks for listening

i totally agre with that method of approach on this matter mate, =D> sounds like a good way to target all the people who are there (not only mr2 owners) and give them an insight to what the meet is really all about =D>

a little introduction to the meet, the rules, and expected behaviour etc i think will go a long way!! id also be willing to help and hand them out with somebody at the next few meets as the cars pull in. it cant do any harm and will defo raise awareness about the bluewater staff not being impressed with the recent behaviour.

here here cosmosbluemr2...good call old chap  :thumright:
