Mass Effect 2.....

Post by thai boxer »

Whos got it? What you think of it?

I absolutely loved the first game (played it 3 times through) and I'm only 5 hours into this one but its already excellent and the story is slowly unfolding which keeps you hooked! :thumleft: 8) Its part of a trilogy so plenty more to come.

Its been getting some excellent reviews (5/5, 9/10 etc) and for those that liked the first game this is definately one to get! :thumleft:

bought the first one, spent about an hour setting it up, changing the team and the bloke etc, then spent about 20 mins trying to play it and just kept getting shot to f**k on the first planet I went to. Put it straight on ebay.

You missed out Nails.

Had a bit more playtime and its one of my fave games of this generation already.

Story is awesome and they have just improved everything in the first which was already pretty solid.

Im not very good at games like that unless there is an easy option, fps and car games Im ok at but that just seemed to hard, and was getting tied up talking to everyone and wondering which thing to say etc etc. I played fallout 3 for a quite a bit longer even though thats a wander for 20 minutes before you even find anything kind of game.

been playin this abit more about 8 hours now in total. still not really liking it too much, its pretty boring and slow. i usually like games like this (fable being my fave)
on the other hand i started dantes inferno last night at 1 am then stopped playing it at 6am  pretty damn good game :thumleft:

I thought Dantes Inferno looked like a PS2 game and was crap.

ME is at the opposite end of that scale.

Didnt really expect you to like it tho!

Its nothing like fable either!

Quality!

Also I strongly advise everyone to save the game before you do the assassin's loyalty mission, as you only get one shot at it and it's easier to fail than you think... ](*,)

Mass Effect is strange,

I tried to play it 5 times and said "This is a cap game" and went back to Forza 2 or what ever was out then. I said I would give it one last go and I would get past the 1st mission. Never looked back, was an amazing game! :thumleft:

IGN posted on their website today that they have learned that BioWare will be releasing more DLC for their epic space-festival of awsomeness, Mass Effect 2. The upcoming DLC will feature a new character, Kasumi, a stealthy vixen of the female persuasion that you will meet at the Citadel. So buy this lovely lady a drink or just lay down your magical rap and perhaps you can get her to join your team!

The Kasumi content will add about an hour and a half of gameplay as well as some new items and you will be able to access it regardless of where you are in the story.

As a matter of note, this DLC marks the first one that BioWare will be charging for – even if you are a member of the Cerberus Network. While there is no indication as to how much BioWare intends to charge for the content, we do know that it will be available for download on April 6thfor Xbox and PC.
