I really liked it but i was never in the position where i had enough decent ammo for more than one big gun fight and that got annoying after a while so i havent been back to it for a while.

One day........

Hated it when I first played it, but after a few hours when you level up a bit and get half-decent guns, it's very very good :thumleft:

Pity it crashes more often than Microsoft Windows ](*,)

...and Fallout: New Vegas is coming this autumn, so you'd better finish it (and the DLC) by then ;)

Took me a few months to 'complete' the game with about 45/50% only done of the missions.

I was a bit peeved to be honest as i was saving up all my heavy guns etc for a big fight then never got to use half of them! lol

I know i need to go back and complete the rest of the missions but i cant be bothered at the mo! That game took way too much of my life away and i dont want to get sucked into it again. :p

Bought Oblivion off the back of this as i was told its the same type of game and is also supposed to be quite special. Daren't open it yet as i dont want to be in the same boat as fallout where if you leave it for a bit and go back you need to try and remember where you are and what your in the middle of doing.

Little Lamp springs to mind with those annoying kids! Man i used to want kill most of them! lol

ha ha quality...

I also have Fallout3 GOYE edition sat on my shelf unused in fear of not leaving my house for a couple weeks after loading it up... pure madness #-o , I will definately start it once I've finished going thru all the Half Life 2 stuff I bought recently./ :thumleft:

Best gun in the game by far is the Lincoln Repeater – as soon as you’re able to get over to the museum and pick it up. You can get plenty of.44 ammo from the head guard at Tenpenny towers.

Best armour is the Reilly’s Rangers armour, you can get it quite early on and don’t need training for it unlike the Brotherhood power armour.

Currently playing through again and racking up the bad karma, very amusing!

Tragically I have dropped 150 hours into Oblivion since I have had it! Epic! But your right you need to focus on it otherwise you forget what you were doing.

Bender Unit are you MAD!!!

Best gun is the Gause Rifle (Broken Steal Pack) and the Heavy Incinerator (same pack)

Best armour is the Chinese Stealth Armour (Operation Anchorage) and/or the Tesla Armour

:thumleft:

Collect Frag Mines like there going out of fashion, If a Death Claw sees you run off dropping 6 mines as fast as possible once you here them go off turn and put one shot in its face,

Sydney's SMG is also an amazing gun!

Ranger armour is the best all round.

oh, and the alien blaster is THE best gun

Although I used the poison dart gun the most, lol!

I lost a few months to that last year, truely epic game.

Not sure the % complete, I need to check.

Well ive just finished it...........it ended where i didnt expect it to, but wont spoil it for anyone that hasnt finished it yet.

If you havent finished it LOOK AWAY NOW because i need to ask someone about it .....

If you follow the story through about the purifier i take it you dont get to see all the places on the map ? I know there is nothing stopping me walking around and finding places but i expected to have to complete more quests before i got to finish the game .....like all of them !!

I went the whole game without finding that dog to follow me around .....where do i get that from ?

Also i bought the Nuka Cola machine for my house, do you have to fill it yourself and whats the point of ice cold Nuka Cola ?

I reached level 17 using good karma, what level does it go to ?

How do i find the Nuka Cola challenge ?

What the point of the guys that need clean water ? ... do they just keep taking it off you for nothing ?

:)

The dog is found at some scrap yard and you give that guy clean water to raise your good karma.
