Bobby's car heartbreakingly on the market

Post by Bobby (aka Shaggar) »

EDIT!!!!!!!....... THIS IS NOW SERIOUSLY UP FOR SALE FOR THE RIGHT OFFER. NOT JUST AN ENQUIRY FOR VALUE ANYMORE. MAKE ME AN OFFER.

Its going to break my heart ending the 8 year relationship but I'm seriously trying to find a job abroad so makes no sense to either fix it myself or reshell it and invest more money. The right job comes along, I wont be coming back! I also dont haev a drive/garage so dont want to start breaking it. Dont think it makes sense to repait though, suspect it's a little too bent. Its really a parts bin /reshell job.

I will however consider removing the turbo and selling that seperately. It is spanking new, just 3k on a (just shy of) £1000 turbo.

Value in parts:

Engine Build including parts and new turbo (see spec below) £4064.66
Downpipe £140
Gearbox £ 350
Seats £150
Steering wheel £25
Apexi N1 exhaust £250
Team Dynamics Alloys £250
rev 3 rear subframe £100
New battery £74
Greddy Fuel Cut defender £80
New rear discs and pads £50
Apexi induction kit £100
Cusco Strut braces £200
HKS Turbo Timer £100
Lowering springs £50
Rev3 light clusters £150
Sard side intakes $150

+ if breaking much more in terms of panels, interior trim and plenty more (check out the full spec below of in my profile)

regards,

Bobby

The above alone adds up to £6133.66

Try and fix it or have a mjaor spec upgrade for your own car.

MAKE ME AN OFFER FOLKS!

sorry to hear about the crash!

I have a shell which you can have (same colour) if you wanted to swap the parts over, unfortunately was going to start a drag project so interior and loom have been completely removed. Car was sat up for a while, so body would need some tlc but should help you get her on the road if you were interested. wheels are going to a friend so would need some to trailer Located in Newbury, Berks.

I have got a few pics of before the interior was removed that i can put up, if they are of any use? exterior is in the same condition as was. tlc...well it needs a bloody good clean but not rusty, as i say though completely stripped, no carpet, soundproofing, wiring loom or dash  but on the other hand...its free :D couple of panels would be better to replace...engine lid, and boot lid with spoiler, suspension...is fubared but has some nice GAB anti roll bars that seem in good condition...bonus!

Without being rude Bobby, it is down to you to suggest a price for the car as it is or the other option is for you to break it.

Dont worry mate, youre not being rude. However, I lose count of the number of people who ask for offers on things so dont feel I'm being out of order. As you can see, I've asked people how much they think it worth. This'll help me decide the next sted.

Tanks for all the interest guys. As I stated at the beginning of all this, I wanted to know how much it'd be worth as a whole.

Now that the insurance side of things is complete (as of this morning!), I will firstly be gettign her up on a ramp and maybe some panels off/bumper off to see what the damage REALLY is. If confirmed that the damage is as suspect then it goes for sale, but (and I know I'm clutching at straws here) if there's a that slim chance that its not so bad, it'll get repaired, costs allowing of course.

Watch this space.

Was hoping for over £2k folks. I might consider closer to that without the turbo. I know the price of MR2s at the moment but this represents a bargain guys with the engine, turbo, and everything I've already listed. Perfect for those who want a ready run-in forged engine without the wait.

Roll up, roll up!

Thats rather cheap!

I saw this and thought mmmm, out of my price range, then went and spent 2k on a rev2.
