Quick xbox question..

ok i recently got a lend of an xbox and forza 3 off a friend.great game i have ta say.im thinking bout buying an xbox soon since my ps3 packed in the other day and just want ta know if i bought an xbox memory card could i transfer over my profile and save data onto it so i can use it wen i get my own xbox?coz im not buying the game if i have ta start all over again!cheers..

There is a nice Tom's T020,if you do it up to full spec it has 692bhp n 550lb-ft of torque its a monster i would suggest changing it to AWD.RWD is so much fun tho

ok ill buy a memory card and do that so.sorted!cheers ya its brilliant.the physics aswell are just perfect.the drifting is class.i have it but havnt fully tuned it yet!i must gather up a bit more cash i just spent what i had left on the top secret supra.love that car!no i havnt been online yet i must get a wireless adapter and im gonna go online then.cant wait!is the much u can do online?i know you can buy cars and decals and stuff like that but can u buy like new mods for cars or anything like that??

It's all about the mods. You gotta get the best car you can for the given criteria of the race. Forget decals until you can race online.

is it just me or does this game give you no sense of speed at all...
when ur going 100mph and have to brake for a corner it just doesnt feel like it at all. now need for speed shift really seems to feel like your going 100mph and have to brake hard. thats the most annoying thing about racing games the lack of sense of speed

Thats why people can bang on about realism in games all they like, but they will never be real or actually feel real. They're just games.

Take them at face value and they're fun. Try to compare them to real life and they're rubbish.

I was going to suggest the in-car mode aswell, I use nothing else... def get a sense of speed.

As for shift the only decent NFS game was Most Wanted.

you just dont get it....
im not asking for wind to blow in my face or my chair to jolt every time i change gears.... but in forza it just feels like your floating along (i ALWAYS use in car view) if you break to late there is no sense that ur breaking hard... need for speed achieves that by adding a swinging motion to the drive (in car view only) if you accelerate fast the driver gets further from the windscreen as he's pinned back to the seat, the faster you go the more motion blur there is around you making it feel like your going/getting faster, brake to late for a corner and your guy shoots foward towards to screen just like it does in real life.
no compared to forza, if u accelerate fast your guy just sits there not every car has a 6point harness) no motion blur is added the faster you go (fair enough if you look to the left and right the grass etc blurs like real life) if you brake to hard then again you guy just sits there like nothing has happened.
when people talk about realism in games they arent saying its just like real life, they want things like realistic physics in racing games, 1 shot kills on fps games and in game physics that react in a way that they would in real life.

also there is a machine that can replicate speed, late braking and everything else that happens when driving.
cant think what its called atm but its basically a hydrolic rig with a steering wheel, peds and a big screen attached.

So a simulator then. Have you ever actually been in one? I've had a go on a few. They're fun, but they dont really replicate speed.

I did have a very funny turn on one once when I had a stinking minging hangover.
