[Mk2] [Turbo] where to buy stronger alternator?

Post by Apocalypse »

Hi guys, looking at buying a stronger alternator as my one has packed it a couple times already. I know you can buy 130 amp alternators, anyone know where to get them from or how much they cost?

Thanks[/quote]

check you don't have a wiring fault causing the alt to short out and die. These things are built fairly strong

if the alternator is getting gubbed then something is causing it. Getting the charging circuit checked would be a good place to start from. Replacing alternators is going to get real expensive really quickly
