Can you use any mobile phone bluetooth handsfree headset with the PS3? Ive got one somewhere and will dig it out if you can, if not i'll just get an official PS3 one.

Yes you can, I've used a few and all have worked.

yeah you can but not all of them are very good quality....
go for usb its much clearer. and if you want 5.1 and a mic on the same head set go to www.astrogaming.co.uk £200 but damn theyre good

I use the logitech one that someone on here metioned and I'm very happy with it.
I did try using a couple of cheap phone style one that we had lying around the house but they were forever failing to get a connection for some reason which means you need to eit your game and go 'hook' them up again which is irritating

if its the cordless vantage headset then it was me who suggested it, its by far the best blue tooth mic ive used. i still prefer usb which is why im getting some astros but the cordless vantage is great
