Good points...

Recent new discs and pads
Brand spankin' new battery!
Gearbox is as good as new
Clutch has lots of bite
Low mileage
No rust
Power steering, electric folding mirrors, air con (works very well) ariel built into windscreen, fully adjustable rake and height on steering wheel.
Brand new tyres all round featuring the popular NEXEN directionals on rear and Wanli's up front mounted onto extremely good condition original Rev3 alloys.
Paintwork is very rich from the factory for its age.
Underneath is spotless, no rust whatsoever, not even surface rust.
Recent suspension struts up front.
Speedo still reads KM and has MPH face.
Everything on this car is original barring the later spec wheels and CD Player

Not so brilliant points

Rear ariel doesnt work, it whirs but no movement (windscreen ariel works fine for me!!)
Few tiny dents as pictured, one on the driver's rear wing so small I couldnt get a good picture, also not pictured is a small dent on the drivers rear arch lip where it meets the rub strip.
Paintwork is a little flat on top side of front bumper (try and see it pictured you could hardly tell!)
Wingmirrors have minimal laquer peel (pictured)

THATS IT !... The above mentioned is for the people that are REALLY picky.

This car drives like an absolute dream and pulls so well. There are no knocks, squeaks or humming noises. This car drives perfect and is one of the lucky ones to have perfect treatment over the years. This car was imported from Ireland in 1998 so this is not a grey import therefore cheaper on the insurance.

The buyer of this car shall have the car fully valeted proffesionally by myself before collection.

Try and find another Rev1 cleaner than this!

Just want to say that looks like a very clean example of a very original and well cared for rev1.
Not sure though it's not a jap import (though they all are really).. due to the toblerones at the front and the speedo reading in km but I could be wrong. Doesn't really effect the insurance anyway.
You haven't mentioned any paperwork for the car and if it were me I'd detail what you have. Otherwise if it's as nice as you say I wish you good luck with the sale of a soon to be classic.

Yes it would have been imported from Japan to ireland orginally and then over to here, it is a proper import spec MR2 but with Irish plates. As for paperwork unfortunately all I have is the MoT certificate, the previous owner bought the car from a dealer and she was never given any. All I can say is that paperwork shouldnt be of importance as by looking at the car you can see all round its been well looked after and had money spent to keep it tip top.

New alternator has now been fitted and the car runs perfectly without the whine...

The reason why its going for this price is due to the new tyres and good wheels removed from another MR2...

Hopefully if someone out there has a set of their own wheels that they could bring and I will fit, then the price will come down considerably.

Ive brought the price down already due to the small dents around the car, but not noticable unless up close, also the paint being a bit flat on the nose and slightly peeling. This car runs absolutely great mechanically, so nice to drive. The other MR2 needs money putting towards it so ideally this needs to go.

Thanks for your feedback... However I bit the bullet when I bought it like this, looking around it in and out and underneath and the way it drives shows its been well looked after.

Service history in my eyes doesnt mean too much. You could have a car with a few bits in the past ie, servicing, brakes and other little bits (obviously timing belt is the main thing), it doesnt really prove imo that the car is that good the day you buy it. If you see where im coming from.

I appreciate from anyones point of view that there is no history, just a damn shame its been lost. I just hope it doesnt reflect too much to the buyer's decision.

Its an honest car and will go on for years, it really needs a good home as its now sat on the driveway while im now a named driver on my partner's MR2.
