just bought these for mine:

I'm not fond of hood pins either, so I tried to get some discrete black ones, but failed. These were the only ones I could find that were close to black. All the others seem to be either stainless steel or anodised in blue or red :(

Ummm... you were lucky they got a replacement... all the places I've looked say that if you don't use bonnet pins its your own fault.

Bonnet pins look good I think, but only with a Carbon bonnet (or Fibre Glass) but thats because they are needed, would've thought it would've been the first thing considered after a carbon bonnet.
