my first mr2

well as some of you know i sold my subaru, i brought a 1992 rev 2 import mr2 turbo to replace it,
brought it in a bit of a state as it had sat on the guys garden for 2years, managed to get a mot on it after a bit of work with the help from the guy i brought it from,
then just gave it a gd clean really,then added a few bits

dvd 7" touch screen double din in dash
turbo timer
15" light weight enkei racing alloys
italvolanti racing steering wheel
amber sidelights and indicators
jdm flare
anodised fire extinguisher
bomex side skirts to replace the scuffed side air intake vents
hks hiper exhaust

still lots more to do but thought i would take a few pics of how it is at mo, so off i went in the snow to himley.

Get it lower and paint the wheels orange and jobs a good 'un mate. Looks a nice clean car and it's always a good idea to take images as you mod so you can look back and assess if you're proceeding along the right lines.

funny you should say about the orange wheels as i am currently toying with the idea... and on the look out for cheap lowering springs to lol, car is clean apart from scratch down passenger wing and door also pitting in the doors under the laquer, prob have it blowed over this yr..

You know it makes sense. By the way careful with the springs. If your struts are old or high mileage the extra strain of lowering springs might be enough to send them to the scrap heap sooner rather than later. Consider maybe a secondhand strut/spring combo with less overall mileage and matched damping etc.... maybe a set of rev 3/4 black billies with the lower oem springs that came with the later revs.

Car looks awesome in the pics mate. I love the wheels also. How about doing the centers green? I reckon that would look pretty awesome! Car looked great when it was parked on ya drive. Even the missus said it looked nice

A must say m8,HighwayStar was right the car look F***ing luvly now it looked really nice before but they orange wheels just top it off,you have a very nice looking Mk2.

thanks guys, just waiting for the weather to pick up now then i will be doing the wheels and a few other bits then to the body shop she goes to get the horrid scratch out that someone decided to do, keyed al down passenger side of car, ( don before i had it.)
