Am fairly new to the club and just wanted to check that I can go on the stand, my car isn't anything special

All cars can come along and I personally enjoy looking over a standard 2 (makes me often wish I had a standard car as well as my own) and it's a very informal affair. The more the merrier so bring your baby along and welcome.

Welcome to the imoc, as long as its an mr2 your more than welcome, It will be a great day, and great opportunity to say hello.
Looking forward to meeting you, try to find me, i will have the 2 with ears.
Payment will be on the gate, but the second gate sign posted for car clubs, not the main entrance. It will all be clear when you get there.

I have asked to be back near the American museum again this year so we dont get a small coating of dust from the tank display. Fingers crossed.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
§ All drivers & vehicles are to be appropriately licensed & insured.
§ VEHICLES MUST OBEY THE SPEED LIMITS of 15mph on site.
§ VEHICLE MOVEMENT: vehicle movement is prohibited once on site and parked up by marshals.
§ NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON SITE this is a CAA safety precaution for all live airfields.
§ NO BBQ's OR GAS APPLIANCES ARE ALLOWED ON THE MUSEUM SITE.
§ Driving competitions are not permitted.
§ We do not allow overnight parking or camping.
§ Smoking: All Museum buildings are strictly No Smoking.
§ Signage/toilets: The ImperialWar Museum Duxford will supply signage as required and extra toilets subject to
the size of the event. All provided signage is the property of the Museum. All signage removed from site will
be charged to the Car Club.
§ Photography: Visitors who wish to film or take photographs for commercial use, i.e. where the intention is to
publish, present or otherwise attempt to exploit the commercial value of the results, must get permission
from the Museum prior to the event. A charge may apply. Please contact the Events Assistant, Jessica Jeske,
for further details.
§ Trading: The club must inform the Museum at least two weeks prior to the event if they wish to invite traders
or sell any car related items themselves. A charge may be applicable. Traders will need to send their Public

Duxford is a fantastic day out, with all types of planes and military vehicles to see, it is also possible to go onto some of the planes including an original Concorde. There are also exhibits where you can test your reaction times. I have the reactions of a fighter pilot!!!
During the day there will be tank displays and various aircrafts taking off, although its not an air show
The gate opens at 9.30, Its£9.50 per person when coming in an mr2.
That includes the car and parking on the club stand located in the museum grounds, with full access to the site and all hangers.
Payment is at the gate.
