:oops:

After playing trials and lusting after forza3 i finally gave in and bought a 360 today!

I went for the super elite forza 3 pack and also got gow2 whist i was there!

And cos i've been worried about the ylod and wanted hd audio for my new surround system :) i also bought a new 250Gb slim too!

The man from amazon is gonna have a busy day tomorrow lol.

Btw how long xbox live gold membership do i get free??

1month if you make a new account and usually 48hours if you buy a game.
also if your getting rid of you fat ps3 let me know, ive been given one with a dead laser and im looking for one with a ylod or something so i can switch out the drives and get it working :thumleft:

I sold my phat to a guy at work for £200 with the 320Gb hdd!

He sold his 80Gb phat to another lad too! (mine plays ps2 games)

I'll start a new account then as i'm not too fussy about a new user name lol

haha i wish, I get married in 3 months remember and thats cost a bloody fortune!

Although we're in the Usa for just under a month taking in Nyc, Orlando, Vegas and Dallas ;)

You have a ps3 and 360 also don't you?

He does but he didnt buy them both at once.

Specially when he already had one lol.

aye but i sold my ps3 for £200 and bought the 250Gb slim with 2 games (which i'll sell) for £290 so if i get £30 a game (uncharted 2 and bayonetta) my new ps3 has only cost me £30!

Still had to lay out £500 in one go :shock:

Fair play if you can afford to do it though :clap:

I bought my Xbox when they were expensive, and the PS3 when they were sort of expensive, but a good 2 years apart I think.

Savings and getting married is what id struggle to believe.

I cant save and im not spending a ton on a wedding!

Well as i said i the ps3 only cost me £30 and the xbox i paid myself. So the outlay was only £280

We rarely drink, We don't smoke, We don't do drugs so apart from the wedding there's not a lot of outgoings.

We've been saving HARD for the wedding for 2 years because we were determined that we wouldn't put ourselves in a single penny of debt over it and we wouldn't let our parents pay anything toward it either.

I read it wrong, I thought you bought the Slim before you sold the original PS3 just incase you got a yellow light error #-o

Tbh it was on my mind but i if i didn't want hd audio i wouldn't have bothered.

I've never actually met anyone who has had a ylod and loads of my mates have ps3's.
