Seriously though......how does this outcome work? Is it a simple case of one or two members of another team dropping out hence availible spots opening?

That's basically it, there are a set number of spaces and all are allocated at present, some still need to be paid for (maybe 5 or so) and some people are bound to drop out... I just need to keep nagging like all the others are so that we get as many spares as possible

Keep up the good nagging and if I do get in i'll even bring some nan bread up with me for the Saturday's curry night!

I ran mine last year, so giving others a chance... I'll gladly take a couple of steps back and let the new recruits come forward. As I've always said, I'll stick my car on the track if any aren't working !! If we're all working, then I'll watch for a change.. no problem for me !

I'll bring my tools too just in case !

I've spent a decent amount of time on track although I must admit i'm yet to get the 2 out for a blast! I have as you know had many many runs up the 1/4 in the little fella though I'm under no illusion that i'll be winning any one of the disciplines and so i'm aiming to do well over all in order to make a good show of things......the reality may prove different!

How's abouts you old bean, many runs over the 1/4?

In truth i'm expecting good things from you and your car to be honest Neil. I would probably say that of all of us you have the most complete car and obviously many outings out track side to get to grips with the beast

Plenty, there is a list a few pages back, I think there were about 10 > 12 people on it and we have 30 places reserved.

How much & who do i pay?

No fee to pay, I've sorted it all out.

What do i bring? (apart from car )

Pre-booked ticket for entry to the actual event (buy on totb.co.uk) to save a few quid, sun tan lotion, a camera and some cash... happy days

I dont really enjoy 1/4m much to be honest, probably done about 20 in my entire life if im honest. I suspect its a mixture of me not being very good at it and not finding it very exciting so I just dont bother much I usually enjoy the first couple of runs on the day and then I just cant be bothered anymore!!

TOTB is the frist time I will have any enthusiasm for the 1/4 though so it might convert me, I am pretty competitive so once the times start coming in I am sure I will be throwing the passenger seat out and squirting fire extinguishers in my CC rad just like everyone else

I am hopeful on the handling course though, my car is obviously setup for track more than anything else so thats where I really want it to shine - cant imagine I will beat some of the EVO's though, they are mad competitive and the rumour is that they are employing pro drivers to run their cars this year to make sure they win the handling event - hardly seems fair, but there you go!

Im off to do an evening sessesion at Donington on the 26th to get some practice in on the new engine and do some final suspension tweaking. Cant wait
