hehe... just wasn't aware if the 360 fan boys would jump all over that statement in case i got it wrong.

yeah its definatly ps3 only lol its 256 but you never really see all the players at once. the map is HUGEEEE and you have to attack points then move up to the next point the 128 players on the attacking team are split into squads of 8 with a commander. then each squad has to attack the points untill there is only one remaining and you all attack it once.
great fun i only got to play for the last few days tho.

Will be interesting if they pull it off becasue isn't it running on a P2P network so bad connections/people dropping out could have a massive impact on the whole game?

there was a public beta from september to november, i didnt get selected for it but my mate did and he let me grab it off his account a few weeks ago so i only got to play the end of it

It will be awesome if you can get a squad of friends or jus cooperative players.


Most games will just be a free for all though. Which could still be fun.

there is/was a fair bit of good comms even with players you have never met. you have to rank up to be a commander the game basically plays like battlefield 2 on the pc, so if you have played that before you will have some idea. bf2 is still an amazing game now so hopefully the full version of mag will be even better

Sounds a bit crap if you got to be a section commander on a game you buy just to brass people up on tho, I'd rather be running around getting rounds down than mincing telling my blokes what to be doing in a game where really you dont get a proper perception of whats going on!
