Coilovers - what to buy & where from

Post by Steve Horrocks »

As title really, what do people think? I'm on a tight budget, and seen the D2 coilovers for £550 delivered. What do folk think of these and has anyone else got any ideas around same price?

Ta!

I bought a set of Tein Super Streets from Rogue a couple of years ago, a bit more expensive about £700 I think but well worth it, they make such a difference. I'd definitely recommend coilovers.

In that sort of price range you can get BC coilovers. I've got a set to be fitted but am waiting on alloys to get refurbed. Do a search on here and on the net and you'll find positive comments on them.

Tein Superstreets with top mounts, for me mate.

As far as I am concerned put them togther with with uprated ARB`s and polybushes there isnt a better road set-up for the money.

Had mine for nearly 6 years and not had any problems. :thumleft:

If you need someone to fit them.......................I`m mobile and not to far away. \:D/

I'm really not bothered about changing shocks if I've done all rest of work on my tod dude! Ha, but cheers though!!
How much are super streets going for? I'm realistically looking at my above mentioned limit! Where are these BC coilovers listed and also these from 3S?

Cheers for info guys!

cheers bud, seen them, but the one being possibly bent put me off. Now, we know how eBay works, possibly bent means it resembles an EU passed banana!
