[Mk2] [NA] Central Locking

Hi there,

Just bought my first Mk2 MR2 today and i love it already but haing problems with the central locking

With the Key in the drivers door, it opens both the doors but for some reason does not lock both doors, it locks the drivers door though.

The button on the inside works both the doors though...........

Any ideas................

I think that's normal chief... You could give you're passenger a key too?

yeah most of them do that, what to do is, when you get out, push the button to lock the doors, hold up the drivers handle when you close the door and it will be locked., or, get remote central locking

i got remote central locking, just changed the battery but it not opening or locking the doors!!!

Wonder if fitting an alarm would solve all my probs..................

Snap mine has started doing exactly the same thing. Will unlock from the Driver's door but not lock. I can lock from inside though very odd, sure it was ok before.
