Hi guys,

I have a rev1 turbo for sale.
It's an L reg in black.

Quick spec list:

Leather/alcantara seats
Momo steering wheel and boss
BOV
Motoria twin exhaust
Lowered suspension
Grooved discs
Clifford Alarm
Rear x-brace
sony headunit with 12 disc changer, also a stalk controller.

And the important bits:
11 months tax
6 months mot
80k miles

Car drives brilliantly, haven't had it particularly long, but after having 4 mr2s including this one i've decided to go down a different route and try something else (still staying toyota though!).

Car is also in immaculate condition, not a trace of rust, no dents etc. Only a couple of areas which have been repainted but not noticeable.

I also have extra aftermarket parts not fitted that can be included in the sale depending on price etc.

Anyway, looking for around £2100 but am open to offers.

Also, try getting your hands on a leather gear gator. Having one missing makes the car look sloppy.

Any reason for the Rev1 front bumper? Having a Rev1 one screams out "previously had a front end crash and was cheaply repaired". I know, cos I bought one before

Yes you're right, that doesn't sound great!

I'm not sure why i haven't had any interest though.
It's a very clean well looked after car.

As for the rev1 bumper, can you explain how you can tell this? I wasn't aware it is different to what it should be?

it should have bigger bottom lip on the front bumper for a rev2. that bottom lips off a rev1 which might explain why no interest, have you matched this up to make sure its a rev2? have a look in know your 2 to match the chasis codes up

It could actually be a REV1 and Andy has made a mistake.

Andy check your chassis number

REV1 00001 - 59265
REV2 59266 - 87385

Oh and if you want I`ll send you down a half decent leather gaiter - let me know.

Yeh i need to check this, i thought it was a rev2 because of the date, but maybe i'm wrong. I'll get the chassis number at some point...!

Hi guys,

well sorry for the false selling, turns out that this is indeed a rev1. I should have read a bit more on here, i just saw a '93 plate and assumed a rev2, but definitely a rev1.

Anyway, still for sale as i'm going a different direction. If anyone was looking to p/x then let me know as i'd be interested in anything rwd around the same price.

Well it breaks my heart to say that this is no longer for sale.
That may sound weird but i had a bit of an incident with a wet roundabout and a tree, so i wish it was still alive to be sold!

Well i need to speak to the insurance, but i'll probably be buying it back from them so will have parts for sale at some point.....

Front nearside and the passenger side.
Looks like a writeoff but it's dark, haven't had a chance to properly look.

Looks like the front inner wing is toast, the rear wing by the fuel cap is bu88ered, the passenger door and glass is dead. Nearside alloys both screwed.

Basically went down a ditch and caught one tree on the nearside and then hit another in the front.

It was the first truly nice mr2 i've owned and now i've killed her!

What a way to end my mr2 ownership. Was offered a swap with a skyline a week ago, if only......
