[Mk2] [Generic] Toms Side skirts

Post by alan.i »

I am considering fitting a set of Tom side skirts and would appreciate any feedback.
Ideally i would like the genuine article but would settle for a good fitting replica if one is available?
Can anyone recommend a good fitting set?
I believe the [RMG Deveopments] T- type sideskirts that Rogue motorsport sell are good?
Can anyone confirm this for me?
Also, can these be bought direct fron the manufacturer?
If so, does anyone have their contact details ?
I have done a search on the web, but have drawn a blank.

Any help would be appreciated

in my opinion alan nobody makes skirts that fit perfect . they always need a bit of fettling here n there so to speak. as far as rogue stuff goes i would say its the better end of the market for fitment and require very little in the way of mods to get them to fit. a few friends have had stuff from rogue which i have fitted , and i was impressed :thumleft: some of the "bigger more well known" brands i have had alot more work to do and made more mods to get a good fitment. if i hadnt of got EREBUNI skirts for my car then my other choice was MRD skirts :thumleft:

Thanks for the reply Mark.
I'm not in any real hurry, and am prepared to wait for a genuine set to come along.
I will also be needing the Toms rear bumper so the same question applies really.

I've heard good things about Replikit.

Little cheaper than rogue too.

if your looking at genuine toms skirts / bumpers etc from what i have seen they fit as good as you would expect . alot will depend on your own ideal ! some people would be satisfied with "its near enough " as others (like myself) have to have it right  your car looks fantastic alan , its fresh and straight on the body, door alignment and bumpers aligment are spot on etc , your used to looking at this , the effort you have put into this car shows m8 , its a superb example. so ! if money isnt an issue alan , and your gonna kit it up so to speak !!! my advice , buy a genuine kit :thumleft: dont be dissapointed with a kit that may not be up to your own standards when its fitted.

might be worth pm'ing JeffD and Nuttasie on here.

Both were doing reproductions of the Neos stuff which was know as good fitting.

I have bought from both and the fit was really good

you can see some pics in my member thread - http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=126670

both skirts & rear went straight on with no modification
