no need to be snide about it, i was asking what the benefits were. and is it worth me doing.

If you put the rest of the rev3 bits on, you would have a true rev3 conversion.....and a better base for future improvements

Sheppy if you want advice try the pm system, unfortunately the board is being swamped with big head know its alls that will argue every possible point because they got 55 years experience and not a clue.

Locky fella ! If your reading this with your Pheonix Power car running a rev4 head and rev2 bottom end making 500 plus hp you better bring it back cos it dont work.

I think we should strip yours down aswell Andy :lol: Can't believe that is has been running over 500bhp for 3 years when we forgot to machine the head #-o #-o

Best take it to Nathan at mr2twos?? If we dare of coarse :eye:

It depends on the cost of 14 years experience....He will be so good I reckon I will be unable to afford it. :cry:

I just hope Andy's car holds out for a few more weeks before the unmachined bit causes a failure :eye:

the reason i asked is because i have a rev3 head from fensport and the rev 3 inlet is better designed than the rev1/2 you dont need to change oil or water pump, although because the oil pump design on a rev3 means the filter sits down the bottom which is ideal when space is a bit tight up top i didnt no about there being a diffrance in the timing belt, is that because the height of the head or the size of the pulleys?
