Don't sell up now!

What's wrong with the boost controller?
If your Pectel ECU has a PWM output that's unused then I can get you a solonoid for about £20 and you're back on track.

The air injector is set up incorrectly. We took a gamble to keep it within a fail safe area, but the gamble didn't pay off. Infact it went the other way. I've got some solenoids eye'd up, the same ones AEM etc use. Can you send me some details of the ones you're able to get please?

Thanks,
Ant

The one I'm after is a MAC valve. Its basically a 3 port Poppet valve solenoid.

What ones do you have?

Not sure if they're what we need. For the sake of £20 I'll give them a miss and stick with the MAC valve as I know it will do what we want, and I've already got the fittings lined up for it. Really appreciate the offer though mate :thumleft:

Thanks,
Ant

This is one hell of a car, seen it in action on a 3 car run and can vouch for it's performance, custom built engine and brakes by the owner  and devastating acceleration :thumleft: Sorry to see it up for sale. This car spits proper flames 8)

Thanks for the nice comments. Brought a smile to my face. I'm hoping to be able to keep the car unless an unrefusable offer came along. Doesn't look like that will happen for the time being, so just gonna have to take my time to get the things done that I need to. :) With a bit of luck I'll be able to get it to a couple more meets next year.

I know what you're getting at. I put all the effort in to build a 500bhp mr2 and ended up selling up before I finished it. TBH now that century's car is no longer around, yours has to be a contender for the most mechanically advanced and well thought out cars on the forum.

So surely you can dig down that bit extra to see what it's like at 2bar? No doubt if you felt it running with that power you'd never want to sell it.

Either way best of luck with it mate. Free bump for what really is an extraordinary mr2.
