Really want to find out what offset I'm gonna need to have 8j rims front and rear on with 214/40/17r front tyres and 235/40/17r rear.

ET35 maybe ET30 on the rear

i run 8.5j 17" 215/45/17 35 offset front
9.0j 18" 255/35/18 35 offset rear :thumleft:

I run with 7,5X17 ET30 & 8,5X17 ET32

I run an 8" with a 30 offset at the front of mine ( 215/40/17 ).... great on appearance... can sometimes be a little itchy and scratchy to the wings if lowered...and belting around a track... 95%, not a problem. :thumleft:

+35 front - +38-42 rear.......+38 will give you bigger dish than +42 onwards if your going Jap custom wheels!!! this is where I messed up #-o

Sorry the +38-42 recommendation on rear is for a 9.5" rim, speed read that one! :roll:

I have 7j front and 8j rear ET35 all round, same tyres sizes as the OP. Fronts sit perfectly in the arch, rear could do with coming out a few mm so with 8j all round you'be be better off with an offset of ET32 or ET30.

im running the exact sizes as the op, and my wheels are all 40 offset, with a 5mm spacer to bring them all to 35 offset, i think they sit just right.

if i was to go 8J all round.. i'd get et38 to 40 fronts and et30 rears
