[Mk2] [Turbo] mr2 turbo smoke

ive recently done a head gasket waterpump and timing belt on my mr2 turbo. ive bn driving it the past 3 days evrything was fine until last night wen i heard a rattle coming from passenger side of the engine so nursed it home but wen i went out n started it this morning ther was the rattle and a lot of grey smoke any ideas wat this could be

Is it a rattle or was it knocking ??!

What sort of boost were you running ?

sounds like a rattle and standard boost as far as i know as ive not had the car long
