So a few weeks ago we hand over a car to a customer

(professionalism prevents me from naming him).

Thought we had a good relationship, so car released with final invoice to follow.

Invoice sent

- o/s balance

£2800.

Customer tells me can only afford

£200 per month!!!

I write to him politely informing him he's out of order and to keep it out of Court i want

£500pm minimum or my parts returned

(50% of invoice).

I've yet to receive a penny since car handed over.

Today i find out he's had the car mapped on a dyno.

I text him suggesting he might have paid me first, replies asking what the problem is as we have an arrangement!!!

To add insult to injury, i lent him my MR2 Turbo whilst his was in our workshop.

We both new it had a minor oil leak and burnt oil when cold.

I even supplied a 5 litre can of oil should it need topping up.

Car returned with sump empty, dipstick dry and big ends knocking.

When confronted, i was told by him it was my fault for lending him my car with a problem!!!

Hopefully, if he wishes to avoid being identified, he will not post up his dyno results from today.

If he does so, and is therefore identified, i presume he is willing to accept to any criticism from forum members that may follow.

To avoid any incorrect suggestions, I would like to publically thank Ryan

@ TwoBarTuning for backing me and declining to map the car whilst i am owed money.
