East London/Essex Bodyshops and Mechanics Needed

Post by petexa »

Been on the forums for nearly a year and all the top garages are up north which is a bit of a pain for me #-o

So i was hoping that someone on hear use a garage and/or bodyshop near me in in the E4 area of London.

My cars MOT is due soon and it needs a good service, i would do it myself but im not mechcanicly minded.

Also im in need of a bodyshop as i need some strange flakey bits coming off :clown:

there's Kent Car Craft in Kent funilly enough. Recently had a load of work done by them and can vouch for Owen & co :thumleft: (they have a bodyshop company next door to them as well)

Just north of you towards luton there's Pacific Works, you'll find Luke is highly recommended by all the MR2 forums.

A good bodyshop is SprayArt by me. www.sprayart.biz

Grove coachworks, situated in sewardstone road, or at least they used to be....

Used them myself on a few occasions, impressed with the work. They also do mechanical work too I think, but I never used them for anything other than MOT's so I can't comment on that part.

I used to live in Chingford too ;)

sorry mate i worded that wrong, sprayart is a company by me (as in close to me) in southend, essex. Its a friend of mine tho, you can contact them through the website but if you have any trouble let me know and i'll get the pics posted on here to him and get a rough quote.

Here's another vote for Pacific Works. Luke knows his 2s backwards and is most importantly a friendly and kind fella. The new workshop isn't quite complete yet... parts shelving and the like, but a journey there won't be either a disappointment or anything other than fairly priced. I think I'm right in saying £29 phr.
