I'll get this Pheonix Powered ECU over to you on loan, should get you up and running about nicely..
.
till you decide what you want to do.
.
.
An option though, stick the ecu in the post to me, I'll check the map on it see if theres any noticable holes in it..

I've seen instances on a chaps ecu where the ignition table just wipes itself each time its switched on.
.
.
no solution to it.
.
.
I can try it on mine to see if runs crabby on mine..
.
.
.
if its not firing one of the injectors, can localise it.
.
.can probably open it up and check the printed circuit boad for a break to the pin.
.

- you could do that
??!!
It is software on an eprom, so no reason why it couldn't corrupt?!?!
Just a thought.

Going back to establishing the cylinder problem..
.
.
can you get it up and running.
.
pull one lead off at a time.
.
.
and that should determine the cylinder.
.
.
.
.
then go look at the rev 3 pin outs.
.
look for the particular injector pin outs.
.
.
pull the lid off it and have a nosy about for a trace crack in the track
/ or signs of burn out track.
.

defo firing lead wise to each plug, just obviously not firing an injector i think.
???
thanks
jim
Pull the plugs out, so many people never do this, it will tell you whats going on.
if a plug is not firing, but the injector is the plug will be black and wet.
If the plugs are all crusty light brown the all is good with them.![]()
- but which one is COLD to the touch
you could take the injector power supplys off one at a time in turn also jim and see if any make a difference to the running.
