How can we know how much you'll be charged when we don't know where you're taking it :eye:

Assume £30 per hour labour, x2 hrs = £60 O:)

Then add in the cost of a new bearing, genuine Toyota or not ? :-k

Can't remember how much wheel bearings cost, maybe £60 looking at Rogue's website:
www.roguemotorsport.com/forms/Product.aspx?ID=422

Might also be worth checking TCB's prices.

If you happy to pull the hub out yourself, then a local garage will press the old bearing out and new one in for not much £££- my local did it for free.

Either that or a couple hours at whatever rate they charge to do the whole thing :thumleft:

it's a peice of p1ss job if you have a press, i think any garage charging 2 hours for this is taking the mick, took me all of half an hour :thumleft:

bearings are around 60 bucks, you'll be pushed to find one cheaper than that :)

cheaper to find a good rear hub and swap it over can pick them up for less than the cost of a new bearing.

Then you take the risk of the bearing in the new hub dying in a couple thousand kms

agreed, it's such a simple job that i don't think it's worth the risk getting a used hub, although this would be an option if you didn't have a press :thumleft:
