[Mk2] [Turbo] HELP seems to b one thing after another

well not long had my tubby now its a mk2 rev 1 turbo and have had a few problems first thing was my rad hose leaking so replaced it and done thermostat at the same time then the rad burst so replaced this but wen i went to bleed the system i noticed water dripping from the drivers side of the engine bay i thot it was just water lying about but wen i took the car a run heater was fine then it went cold so i parked the car up to cool down nd wen i checked the water it was low it didnt take much but wen ran heater was warm again but same thing happened again thers also a gurgling noise wen engine is turned off at operating temp but this noise has bn ther since i got the car does anyone have any ideas any help would be appreciated thanks

so are you still losing water ?

the gurgling noise happens in many turbos but it sounds that if you haven't got another leak you haven't bleed the system properly.

when i got a coolant change at toyota years ago it took them 3 hours to fill and bleed the system properly, did you spend this time plus more when you did it?

yes i still have the leak its dripping from drivers side of engine bay and it took me bout 2 hours bleeding it front end raised on a 2 post ramp any ideas bout the water dripping as i dont think tht an air lock would coz the water to keep dropping

this could be your problem, you need to find out exactly where it is leaking from :-k

drivers side is it near engine or bulkhead ??could be thermostate housing leaking or clip not strong enough to hold good seal on hose,i removed all my original hose clamps & replaced with jubilee clips doubled up on every hose,if its bulkhead could be the heater pipes leaking?? has it had a clutch replaced ??

i think so too anyone got any ideas as to wer it could b coming from only thing i can think of is waterpump and if it is would i b better doing a head gasket while im doing the waterpump

was it leaking before you replaced the thermostate ??

dont know tbh but thnx for the help ill check them out today or tomorrow and see as all i seen was the water dripping from underneath
