I'd be interested in this too.
The ability to bitstream Dolby True HD & DTS-HD Master Audio over HDMI would've been nice

The elite when brought out had been given a 120gb HD, HDMI, a new jasper chip set(what ever that is), and new heat sinks for cooling with the addition of a different set of fans higher flow and quieter.

The HDD's are interchangable on all the 360's so thats a non issue, you wouldnt have to buy an elite so you can have 120gb HDD.....

As I said before, the only meaningful changes are HDMI & backwards compatabiluty.

Changing the chips makes no difference to how the console looked or the games played or what you could do on it. They were just trying to stop the things from dying.

That looks ugly and cheap and the material used on it seems horrid on the surface.

Also i note there is no on/off switch on the back for the power and the buttons on the front look like push button as opposed to touch sensitive jobbies.

No thanks.. prefer my fat boi!

I realise that, that wasn`t the point i was trying to make. as a new customer buying an elite you`d get all these upgrades, so as a new customer buy the slim ps3 what would you get thats different to the ps3 fat?

Not including software that can be updated via internet.

Well unlike anything previously on the 360 or PS3, you'd get a smaller, lighter and cheaper machine. :thumleft:

Christ then our bedroom activities will only last 1 minute 30, as opposed to 2 mins.

P.s that includes getting undressed and dressed again :thumleft:
