[Mk2] [Turbo] mk2 turbo help

Post by Scott87 »

Looking for some help with my rev2 turbo.
As you can see the new manifold causes the hot pipe to sit on it. I need some hose or other method to raise the pipe so that it isnt touching. But i assume i will also need a modified bracket and would quite like a heatshield between the mainfold and pipe. Is anyone on here able to help with these bits or can make them.

what make of manifold are you using there, tbh if you are running 400 or less or need that manifold for a non-standard turbo i would go back to standard :-k

Its a custom made manifold. I am starting a big build and scrapping the old exhaust system was the first place to start. Rev3 head etc going on next then internals over the winter.
So just really need some help with what to do with that pipe. :)

You could do what I did on my old set up and move the IC.CC to the N/S of the car. Leaving it like that is no good.

Want to keep it where it is really. I have a closed enclosure induction kit an its pretty big.
I am hoping to get someone to make me a heatshield to go inbetween the pipe and manifold.
Someone must have done a mod to keep it looking standard?

If that is a REV 2 manifold its not going to fit a REV 3 head.
