[Mk2] [Turbo] new wheels

Post by ancient mariner »

evening all, well after what seems the longest week of my life,i have finaly finished refurbing the wheels ,i brought off blackice.
16 sheets of wet and dry of varing grades, purchase of a polishing kit and new drill. appx 6 hours intensive labour on each wheel.all done outside and having to stop every hour or so for the poo weather.
fingers are worn to bare bones, and covered in blood blisters .
they arn't perfect, but for my first attempt,i am happy.
hope you approve.paul.

didn't end up needing spacers dave, some muppet had put the droplinks on the wrong way :clown: .i had a right job removing them as i couldn't get at the allen key recess to stop the lot from turning #-o .
still got there in the end.

Hi Paul, wheels are looking really nice mate and suit the car really well.
What are your plans for the centre caps?
