the pedal on the right if the ar$e is comming out ease off as said just respect it, ive had crappy tyres on my 2 and it still wasnt that bad to be honest as thay call them on here ditch finders ,
i found my old mark 1/2 escorts more tail happy in the wet but these are drivers cars, find yourself a track day and get used to your limits ive had lots of rear wheel drive cars though thats my preference,

must admit though im only a light user of my car does 4 miles a day so doesnt get much of a hammering, down the dual carrige way now and then and thats it. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
she's all comming together nicely now after a fair bit of cash spent, not bad for just an n/a now for some body kit i think.

hey hey! welcome to the world of MR2S! you WILL enjoy it.

was my first rear drive car too, take it steady in the wet is my main piece of advice. in the dry they handle like a peach so get comfortable in the dry first, if thats possible in this chuffing country!

Wait for it to rain then go out when the roads are quiet and just get a feel for what the rear wants to do. Big open roundabouts i found were ideal as you can enter them (depending on traffic) as slow or as fast as you dare! I'm no drifter by any means but im sure you'll know of slippy tarmac around where you live so just take care.........ENJOY she will bring a smile to your face.

I was in the same boat as you, came from an extremely powerful impreza to an MR2.

To be fair, not less tail happy than in my impreza but I always had the diff to the back but the awd does help keep it on the road.

As above, in the wet they can be a bit rare! I found out the hard way but managed to save a complete write off and just clipped the rear quart.

Get yourself some good tires, don't find your limits on the roads. Get on a trackday and take it easy.

I find they are fun come rain or shine, unless you smoke and the water drips in :(

Take it easy for a while and lern how it rides at normal speeds. Just don't plant it on a corner and be smooth ](*,) You may find yourself with a new max power modified rear end \:D/
