Don't belive the factory claims for the 20v 140bhp tops, however kick the air box off flip the trumpets fit a sausage filter and enjoy full on induction roar goodness.

if you decide to take the GZE and not the 20V, any chance you can pass on the details of the seller? im possibly after a 20V at the right price.

20v are good pete but once you have ditched the air box changed to trumpets with socks and fitted standalone managment you cant do anything else its already tuned internally to its max your looking 160-170 max.

Personally id go GZE. or the 1.5 route.

i would go 1.5 but its money at teh mo

just about to start stripping the black one while i think whats going to go in it

pete

can you get the trumpets etc for the 20v easy??

i am not after big power so 180 i would be quite happy cos the black one was a giggle already as i drive back roads nearly every day so the turbo would put a huge smile on my face but oh what am i talking about i would love a turbo just not afford it at the mo.. i do not think

Pete - are you looking at the black or silvertop 20v - i have the silvertop :thumleft:

If you go 20v i would reccomend getting the 6 speed box aswell, otherwise ratios can be a bit long from the standard box. Though you will have to reverse the linkages.

From what i can gather 20vs are the tougher engine, though have AFM, if you want to lose that and go for trumpets it means new ECU (or blacktop ecu conversion)

Last dyno (before i owned the car) - it got calculated at 149 fly. I need to get it done again.
