I had only recently come across the advert for this car, not been keeping a look out lately. Was having a look to judtify my 'agreed value' on the insurance.
As probably the first owner of a bronze (call it that rather than orange!) Rev 5 in the UK, I like to see whether another has been imported. I got mine through Newera in 2004 just before the disabled loophole was closed.
I did contact Miguel about Rev 5s last year and he said they were holding onto them more in Japan and hence the price in Japan was higher, and especially for the orange and purple rev 5s as they were very rare.

Wow - a '99 tubby. Probably one of only a handfull in the UK i imagine.

Interesting info on Rev5s I suppose that means theres less point in holding out for a low, low mileage one for 7k?

Maybe the solution for us guys still looking is to buy UK now and think about importing later. Although having said that it'll probably work out more expensive that way round!
