Battlefield 1943 vs WarHawk

So, both seem similar (on foot, driving & flying), which is best?

Not sure what you mean by that?

I'm a bit put off by the 'clean' look of the graphics in 1943 (I'm more used to those of COD4 \:D/ ), but the 20 minute trial seemed okay. But then again the demo for WarHawk is okay too.

I'm still undecided :-k

i ment in warhawk the game is dominated by good warhawk pilots, that can take you out in seconds no matter what you are doing so it spoils the game to some degree.
1943 on the other hand is great fun the planes are great but the bombs dont do enough damage eg u can drop a bomb 3ft from an enemy and they wont take any damage, awesome all round game tho and its only £10, if you have a few mates who want it you can share it, i payed £2 for it so did 4 other of my mates so we all got the game for £2 but downloaded it from one account

Well it's getting more enjoyable, but...

You always have to reload after putting a full magazine into an enemy soldier and they still didn't die - and they kill you while reloading.

Reloading takes forever.

Flying is fairly difficult and you (well, me) can never seem to hit anything (apart from the ground!).

You still die way too often and not know why/who/how.

My username is JohnnyC1969 if anyone wants to laugh my skillz :-k

Ok fellas, this is a seriously funny game, me and my mate have had our fair few games this week but the missus is round this weekend so I cant get on.

I can however get on next week, would be even cooler with beers, so our (my) options are either beer free in the week next week or friday night with beers, let me know if you wanna hook up for a laugh I'll get my mate to join in too.

My xbox 360 handle is ThorpedoUk :thumleft:

Ah sorry, I've got it on PS3.

Incidently, as Battlefield 1943 goes through the EA servers rather than the Sony or Microsoft ones - anyone know if xbox people are actually playing alongside ps3 peeps?

nah its ps3 vs ps3 and 360 vs 360, stupid really but nvm lol
the planes are great when u can fly them but people always bail just as ur about to finish em off. the smg class is the best by far for cqc and sniper for long range, i never use the rifle man.
tanks take 3 rockets from a launcher but only 1 c4 from a sniper.
bombs seem to do 0 damage atm lol so dont bother with them in the planes, out of about 100 ive dropped ive killed about 2people lol.
great game and pretty easy to pick up
