3.0L...V6..... Converted Rev3 MR2

Post by YODI »

Hi all, yes this is my first post but I've paid for the privilege :)

I've got over 1100 ebay feedback and the car is on there too if you want to check it out.

I've decided to sell it I simply miss two wheels too much and want another bike badly so the MR2 is going to go.

The car is an L reg Rev 3 T-Bar, UK Car.

Spec:

3.0 V6 1995 3vz-fe engine with all new gaskets, dizzy cap and rotor arm, timing belt, ht leads, induction kit and water pump.

The heads have had the 4v6 treatment (ported and relapped valves) and were re-shimmed.

turbo fuel pump (quieter than a walboro)

S54 n/a box with mk3 1.5 lsd fitted (with new crown bearings)

Fidanza lightweight flywheel

Exedy turbo/na clutch

n/a mongoose exhaust and de-cat pipe

It also has expensive Kei Office coilovers (gold shocks green springs)

2 seats are Corbeau on proper MR2 frames which slide and recline

The rear end is polybushed as are the engine mounts with Powerflex bushes and I will also supply brand new front polybushes with the car.

Tar-ox sport japan (drilled and grooved) discs on front

EBC red stuff all round (again plenty of wear left)

New handbrake cables fitted in sept 08 for mot

HID Kit already fitted

Turbo Engine lid fitted

K&N Filter

17" Lightweight OZ Superleggeras, 6mm Toyo proxies rear and good budget 6mm+ tyres at the back. 1" proper hubcentric spacers on the rear and 10mm hubcentric spacers at the front with longer wheels studs all new (fronts not fitted yetbut new) Fronts were £79 and rears £119 just 5 weeks ago

It had some light damage to the rear which has now been straightened and a replacement bootlid and spoiler fitted.

The cars got a few months MOT and a couple of months tax left.

Since Erol bought it a couple of months ago its had a full service, completely new brake fluid and a set of alloys.

the cars goes very very well and at 5,000 RPM all hell breaks loose. 208BHP with Rolling road print out

All in all its a great car with all the hardwork done but does need some TLC in terms of the bodywork, the paintwork is flat, the front wing needs some tidying and the roof has been flatted ready for paint, and obviously the boot lid and spoiler need painting.. The rear bumper is still creased ( still useable) but I have sourced a Rev4 bumper for it in the same colour as the bootlid for £35.

Also, the downpipe is blowing so will need welding or replacing, I also have a good spec manifold to go with the car to replace one poor one. The camry came with a good and a bad manifold, the bad manifold was fitted to the Camry on one head for fitting issues but the MR2 has more space by that head so you can fit two of the better designed manifold and I have a good one fitted and a good one ready to be fitted.

The car was recorded as a CatD in Jan 09

I am asking £2500 ono for the car with the wheels on, or £2100 ono without wheels/spacers

Will consider PX

Any questions or test drives are welcome (either show me insurance or I hold the cash whilst you drive)

Thanks, Yodi

(Sorry for the long advert)

Thanks Shadeh, I've seen your build thread on TB...

I think this may have sold subject to a deposit today, taking an Import GT in PX
