im sure its the cold start injector sensor.
the plastic bit of it is loose. how do i test if its working or not?its not throwing any error codes up.

I can tell you exactly what it is I assume your car is a Turbo as I replaced mine last month for a God awful price of £85. 
from Toyota
It is listed as a Inject timer switch and part number is T89462-20020
Dont actualy know exactly what it does as I'm sure someone who knows things can tell you more 
Try not to break off the plastic bit thats what I did lol
