The car has just seen 125,000 miles in which time it has done 25,000 miles under my ownership

(2.5 years).

I have had the car meticulously cared for and faults sharply rectified.

Most work

(i.e.

the important work) is done by either Peter at SBITS or James at 3S

- both well known MR2 specialists.

All oil changes have been with either Castrol GTX or Millers 5W40 Fully Synthetic every 6-8k.

An interesting thing to note at this point is that when the cam cover gasket was changed it was found the engine was a Jap one

- not a UK one.

There's minor differences.

So in some point in it's life it's had a new engine put in, so technically, the engine hasn't done 125,000 miles!

The car has had a lot of work done to it, all of which has been documented and kept in a big fat A4 binder.

Heres most of the work carried out since 2005;

- New callipers, discs

& pads all round

- Handbrake cables

- Coolant change in last year

- with Toyota Forlife

- Cambelt change in last 3 years

- New radiator and cap

- Recent alternator

- Clutch change

- Slave cylinder on clutch

- New gearbox last year

(second hand, filled with Redline MT90)

- TRD quickshift kit

- H&T Prothane bushes all round

- Eibach springs

- KYB Adjustable shocks

- Remus Dual Exit Exhaust and Decat

(as mentioned, it's a jap Rev2 engine)

- Superchip

- Pipercross induction kit

- Import rear bumper

- New rear sill

- Rev 2 wheels

- Dipstick holder

- Uprated door speakers, 6x9's in rear and double din Kenwood stereo.

- Refurbed aerial motor and mast

- Front top mounts

- The T bars do not leak but have done previously.

I've used silicone sealant and silicone spray to help cure them and they've been fine since.

- SORN

& No MOT

The car has been kept off the road and underneath a car cover since the tax ran out in December 2008 so could do with a wash and hoover

Typical student, I ran out of money and couldnt afford to run the car.

A few stone chips and a scratch on the rear bumper.

Rust has developed on the o/s front wing but is not serious, and there is a dent in the n/s front wing.

I recently took it for an MOT which it failed on a CV boot, wiper blades and corrosion near a seatbelt mounting point.

The local garage quoted me

£200 to get the car through the MOT.

Mechanically the car is perfect, runs very well and produced 161bhp

(3bhp over Toyota's standard) on the rolling road

with the graph to prove! I used this car daily for the past 3 years and it has been 100% reliable averaging 30+mpg.

This time last year I drove it to Spain and back without any problems, and would do so this year if I could afford it.

The reason for selling is that I cant afford to spend more money

- I need to save up to pay for the final year of my degree.

The car will come on REV2 alloys, with Toyo R888s on the rears.

The OZ Superturismo? 17s with just about legal tyres are an extra

£100 and REV3 rear light conversion

£150.

I also have a number of part worn tyres for both sets of wheels to get rid of.

The car is near Oxford, OX25 3RG.
