The USDM models have always had airbag. The late US models even had passenger airbags:

no!!! the price is bad

fair you are getting a stunning car but it's dated now. It's not classic priced yet but yet this car has a classic car price.

mmh okay you have to consider that in Germany the prices for MK2 are pretty much higher than yours in UK..

Here you have to pay the same amount for a NA car like you pay for a late Gen2 turbo ;) Although prices are falling due to UK imports ;)

Fantastic condition but probably got as much chance of getting 14k for it as i have winning the lottery as said its not a clasic so isnt worth that imo but it is nice to see one in that kinda condition

I know you nurgurberg nutters.

I love the place but tbh my thoughts are you don't know how to drive a mr2. You have 20 posts and have never driven a mr2. This will be in a corner in 5 mins.

please prove me wrong

whoa.. keep cool. Didn't know that there's a connection between the total of posts and the ability to drive a mr2.

is there one between putting forward an opinion and 'nuttering'?

Hey mate no need to worry... this is not my car and I don't want to sell it ;)
Of course I wouldn't pay 12k for a 20 year old mr2, too.. despite the condition.

By the way, I have my mr2 since 2001 and it's still alive and rust-free ;)

this is a remainder from when lead-containing fuel was sold at the same time like unleaded fuel.. Due to the introduction of the catalytic converter unleaded fuel was necessary as lead-containing fuel led to damages to the cat. You may can find a sticker on your filler cap showing the same?
