Is there a sump gasket on a rev2 turbo? Anyone got a part code?

u can get a cork gasket,try gts chris affiliate, but most people just use sealant

i noticed mine was leaking a little bit as well? is it best to just put a new gasket on then?

Not a new gasket, just use gasket sealant. I haven't done it yet as I can't afford new oil #-o

DO it once, do it right....

Use RTV Silicone sealant.. this is designed for resistance to oil impregnation... other sealants will not have the long term reliability and just perish after a while = leaking again.

Both surfaces need to be grease free... sump face, block face... used brake cleaner / carb cleaner which contains oil stripping agents....

And there wont be a weap in sight...... :mrgreen:

would Loctite Gasket Seal Black 598 95g from halfords do the trick?
